Summary of Position :
Sets up and adjusts injection molding machines for other workers by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned) :
Operates hydraulic lift and scissor lift table to move molds into injection molding machines.
Sets mold into machine using specialized equipment according to written controlled procedures.
Observes proper Lock-Out Tag-Out as applicable.
Keeps molding floor clean and orderly by sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, and wiping molding machines regularly.
Maintains the organization and stocking of the molding cabinets and carts.
Assists with other molding floor and machine duties as directed by Shift Lead or Supervisor.
Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
Education and Skill Requirements :
High school education or GED; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift certification required.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
Ability to use email for communication purposes and tracking job status.
Ability to use work order system to enter and complete work orders associated with setting molds.
