Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Site Manager and Group Leaders to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding and educating students, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the successful administration of educational programs. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to student development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and staff.
Must be able to work be at work EVERY DAY Monday-Friday 6:15am to 7:45am and 2:00pm to 6:00pm
You must be 21 years of age or older
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED or higher for Group Leader position. Site Manager must also have at least 45 DCF Hours.
If hired you must be able to pass a LEVEL 2 FINGERPRINTING AND BACKGROUND SCREENING CLEARANCE through FDLE/FBI/DCF. If hired, we will set up and pre-pay for your appointment for fingerprinting.
Site Manager - Duties include, but are not limited to, creating and carrying out lesson plans, being a team leader and role model to the staff, receiving tuition payments and recording payments received, responsible for all record keeping and child files, communication with parents, following disciplinary policies and procedures regarding children, daily setup and clean-up of toys, materials, and play equipment, as well as providing a safe loving, and positive learning atmosphere for the children.
We are a Florida State licensed facility, therefor you are required to already have completed you State required child care course hours (or opt out of taking courses and pass exams.) within 90 days if you are hired. For Site Manager position you are required to already have your State required child care course hours.
Note: If you are hired and you do not already have any of your 45 Hour DCF and Florida State REQUIRED child care hours, which should include the 10 hours School-Age and Special Needs D.A.P. courseS, you will be required to complete all of the hours and get your certifications within 90 days of employment at your own time and expense. However, we DO offer the books to study if you choose to not take the course hours and just take the exams. You MUST pass the exams to receive your certifications. Again, all training courses, certification hours, and exams are at your own time and expense, but must be completed within 90 days of employment.
We also assist with many in-house In-Service Training Hours opportunities.
(Please scroll down to see the list of child care courses that will be required within 90 days of employment) NOTE: You may opt out of taking the course and just take the exam if you feel comfortable doing so. Some courses (see list below) are available online for about $10.00 per course. If you would like to take the courses before taking the exams for each, you can take the course/s online or at Polk State College in Lakeland and Winter Haven, FL. The exams must be scheduled and taken in person at Polk State College. Each exam will take approximately 15-30 minutes.

Identifying, Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect (4 course hours) Exam is $4.00--Course is available online for $10.00
Child Growth & Development (6 course hours) Exam is $6.00--Course is available online for $10.00
Behavioral Observation & Screening (6 course hours) Exam $6.00--Course is available online for $10.00
PART II--INTRODUCTION TO CHILD CARE
School-Age Appropriate Practices(SAPR) (5 course hours) Exam is $5.00--Course is available online for $10.00
or Understanding Developmentally Appropriate Practices(UDAP) (5 course hours) Exam is $5.00--Course is available online for $10.00
and Special Needs Appropriate Practices(10 course hours) Exam is $10.00--Course is available online for $10.00
PART III--CHILD CARE TRAINING
Early Literacy and Language Development (5 course hours) Course is available online for $10.00

We also require every employee be trained in First-Aid and CPR. Within 30 days of employment you are required to be certified in both CPR and First-Aid. We do offer the courses individually for $20 per course or both courses for $35.00.
