Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This position involves educating young minds, promoting their social and emotional development, and ensuring that all children feel valued and supported in their learning journey. Monday-Friday Shift 2-6pm.
Duties
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Provide guidance on behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of all children in the program.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children infants- preschool age in childcare or daycare settings.
- Ability to educate children effectively through engaging activities and lessons.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support children's social skills development.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Previous experience in early childhood education is preferred but not required.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.50 per hour
