Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: CFO
POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Planning & Analysis Director will manage our financial planning and reporting processes, and own the company's financial model for long-term, annual planning and quarterly forecasts. This is a highly visible role within the finance team and requires a strong leader and open communicator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Review analysis results, develop insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and leads strategic business decisions.
- Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the finance team
- Develops budgets, policies, procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
- Maintain financial reporting for the board and current and future investors in Smart Warehousing
- Maintain cash flow projections to identify risks and opportunities for the company
- Maintain models for capital and debt raising processes
- Performs other duties as assigned by CFO.
“THE PERSON” | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 4 years of experience in working in finance and strategy in a corporate environment
- Experience leading and developing a high-performance team
- Strong knowledge of business and financial concepts
- Quick learner; willing to dive in and get her/his hands dirty
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct analysis, and make strategic recommendations
- Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, including creating complex Excel models
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
