Role Summary:
The Launch Engineer plays a key role in the successful deployment and validation of new installations and systems. They are responsible for configuring, testing, and troubleshooting network devices and systems in preparation for launch. This includes ensuring hardware and software are properly integrated, verifying network connectivity, and conducting thorough testing to meet operational standards.
We rely on our associates for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidentiality related to high-level systems and operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy network devices (routers, switches, access points, etc.).
- Perform detailed testing and validation on each system before launch.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network equipment.
- Ensure systems are ready for monitoring and performance track
- Collaborate with other engineers and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all deployed systems.
- Other directives as required.
Qualifications
- Strong background in routing and switching.
- Familiarity with various network equipment and configurations (e.g., Mikrotik, TP-Link, Ruckus, Cambium).
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting network systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 4 years of relevant experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network (required).
