Ensure daily performance goals are met by providing direct labor in the passenger baggage and / or terminal areas through service and communication to improve productivity and the customer experience.
Remove luggage from conveyer belt to place in designated areas. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively remove and organize arriving baggage from baggage claim carousel area.Lifts and transport bags, boxes, oversize luggage and pet kennels weighing up to 70 lbs.Report issues that could lead to disruption of services, safety concerns or damage to propertyComply with all applicable policies & regulations of Client, JSM and SubcontractorReport damaged, unclaimed or missing items to managementTransport carts from high return areas to high rental areas as neededPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of as neededProvide courteous service in assisting and greeting customersMaintain communication and cooperation with co-workers, and facility managementPerform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS6 months previous work experienceExcellent customer service and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate in English (read, write, speak, understand)Must be at least 18 years of age EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSESAbility to acquire and maintain a BOS Airport Security badge with a Customs seal PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTSLift and / or carry 50 lbsPush / Pull 75 - 100 lbsWalk and stand for duration of shiftWork in seasonal weather conditions out of doors Education PreferredHigh School or better Licenses & Certifications RequiredAirport Badge Skills RequiredCleaningCustomer ServiceCommunication PreferredTime Management Behaviors RequiredTeam Player : Works well as a member of a group PreferredEnthusiastic : Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest Motivations RequiredSelf-Starter : Inspired to perform without outside help
