We are seeking a skilled Cisco Wireless Engineer to review redesign and implement innovative wireless solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wireless network engineering particularly with Cisco technologies.
- Cisco Wireless Technologies : Deep understanding of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) Access Points (APs) and associated technologies (e.g. RF management mobility security).
- Wireless Protocols : Proficiency in IEEE 802.11 standards (a / b / g / n / ac / ax) WiFi Alliance certifications (e.g. WiFi CERTIFIED) and their applications.
- Network Design and Implementation : Ability to design plan and implement complex wireless networks including site surveys RF planning and AP placement.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization : Expertise in diagnosing and resolving wireless network issues optimizing performance (e.g. RF interference channel utilization roaming) and ensuring high availability.
- Security : Knowledge of wireless security best practices including WPA / WPA2(3) encryption and guest access.
- Automation and Orchestration : Familiarity with network automation tools and orchestration platforms (e.g. Cisco DNA Center) for efficient network management.
- Documentation : Ability to create and maintain clear comprehensive documentation of network configurations processes and troubleshooting procedures.
