Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.
- Utilize project management skills to resolve issues and address project deltas.
- Identify and report project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Leverage technical expertise in JAVA, Mainframe, and Data to support project needs.
- Preferably have experience in application development and the insurance domain.
- Work on-site at the client location in Des Moines.
- Facilitate daily standups, ensuring team consensus and effective communication.
- Coach and guide teams in Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products.
- Assist in prioritizing tasks, removing obstacles, and protecting the team from distractions.
- Enhance Agile practices within the organization, driving continuous improvement.
- Help the team set and achieve goals during development sprints.
- Use ServiceNow to track and report on status, metrics, throughput, quality, impediments, and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum principles and practices, fostering collaboration and team accountability.
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to drive decision-making and project success.
- Extensive experience in Agile disciplines, including serving as a Scrum Master at an enterprise level.
- Experience with DXC Insurance Products (e.g., Exceed Policy Administration System, Point In, Assure Policy) and a solid understanding of the insurance domain, preferably in Commercial or Property and Casualty insurance.
- Proven experience in technical project coordination and Agile methodologies.
- Strong technical proficiency in JAVA, Mainframe, and Data technologies.
- Experience in application development and the insurance industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively, identify risks, and drive resolution.
- Skilled in using ServiceNow for project tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Des Moines, Iowa.
