Accounts Payable

SmartTalent is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk for a produce wholesaler company in Seattle. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have 2 years of experience in a finance-related field. (details below).

LOCATION: Seattle, WA

PAY: $24-$27

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fr, 8 hours/day (FT) – flexible within a window or 6am-6pm

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

·        Identifying and addressing pricing and/or receiving issues with other departments

·        Inputting vendor invoice images & data into our electronic payment system

·        Responding in a timely manner to any vendor correspondence, by phone, email, or mail

·        Communicating clearly, verbally and in-writing, with all internal and external agencies 

·        Other related projects or duties as assigned to support the success of the Finance Department 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

·        Strong data entry skills – typing and 10-key by touch (6,000 KPH)

·        Knowledge of general accounting procedures

·        2 years of experience in finance related position or related formal education

·        Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in-writing

·        Possess a driven sense of ownership of responsibilities

·        The desire to continue to grow and advance accounting knowledge and skills after the introductory training period

·        A high attention to detail, allowing you to recognize inconsistencies and/or inefficiencies in processes, and address them constructively
