SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire a Collections Associate for a client of ours, located in Tacoma, WA. Ideal candidate must be bilingual in English & Spanish.
PAY: $21-$22 DOE
TITLE & SHIFT: Collections Associate - Day Shift
LOCATION: Tacoma, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

JOB DUTIES:
• Monitor the accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
• Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collect it in installments.
• Use credit bureau data, post office information, internet searches and other tools to try to locate customers who have moved or changed phone numbers.
• Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
• Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 1 year of collection
· Ability to work overtime when necessary
· Good attendance is an absolute must!
· Must be a great team player
· Able to work quickly & accurately.
· Must be able to work with multilingual staff.
· Must be punctual & accountable.
· Must have reliable transportation
