Field Service Technician
SmartTalent Kirkland is looking to hire an experienced Field Service Technician for a client located in Everett, WA.This is a temp to hire position offering full time hours.The ideal candidate will have previous experience repairing Horizontal Form Fill Seal Wrappers and experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
LOCATION:Everett, WA
PAY: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
SCHEDULE: Starting schedule will be 4am – 2:30pm Monday – Thursday for training, after training hours will vary depending upon customer requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This local tech role begins as a full-time, factory-based position designed to provide hands-on training and skill refinement in our electromechanical systems and equipment. The training period will vary based on your existing expertise and may include tasks such as mechanical subassembly, new machine assembly, troubleshooting, parts/assembly replacements, equipment setup, electrical wiring, programming, film testing, and more.
As the role progresses, responsibilities will expand to include traveling to customer sites to install and configure new machinery, train operators and maintenance teams, troubleshoot and repair equipment, install replacement parts and conversion kits, assess existing machinery for maintenance needs, and calibrate machines to meet customer specifications.
This position requires extensive travel across the United States and Canada, with occasional international travel.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:
• Operating and repairing Horizontal Form Fill Seal Wrappers
• Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting skills including PLC’s, Inverters & Servo Drives
• Reading parts blueprints and electrical schematics
• Use of computer, Windows, and Microsoft Office
• Following OSHA safety rules and regulations
