Superior Fence & Rail is an industry leader seeking an experienced full time Field Technician. Pay ranges from $24-$28/hr. with full benefits, including health insurance.

Job Responsibilities:
● Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
● Learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail structured processes and complete required training.
● Provide overall supervision of Field installers and subcontractor crews in all aspects of their duties.
● Supports Field crews by staging materials, transporting supplies and equipment, and ensuring the crews are supplied with proper tools and materials and using them appropriately and effectively.
● Conduct weekly install meetings to review and share pertinent information.
● Through general instruction, assigns and supervises the work of Leads and at times crews engaged in a variety of tasks associated with fence installation such as assembling and installing equipment and machinery, gathering materials and building fences.
● Oversees Leads and crew as they determine appropriate locations for operations and/or installations.
● Manage warehouse, unloading of shipments, staging of materials for upcoming jobs.
● Ensures instructions, drawings, and/or specifications are interpreted and followed correctly.
● Complete fencing service calls and repairs with little direction.
● Maintain a customer service rating of 96% or better.
● Maintain professionalism of Leads and crew and respond immediately to employee issues and customer needs. Report all incidents to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
● Interact with customers and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
● Basic computer skills and proficiency (preferably with Google G-Suite).
● Valid DL and reliable transportation.
Minimum Requirements
● 2 years in the fencing industry as an installer or crew leader role.
● Expertise in wood, chain link, ornamental iron, and vinyl fencing installation practices.
● MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TRUCK AND TRAILER COMBINATION (non-CDL).
● Ability to read plans and give and follow instructions.
● Ability to problem solve as they arise.
● Ability to interpret, obey and supervise others regarding applicable safety regulations
● Highly detail oriented with organizational skills.
● Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
● Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from subordinates, supervisors, and customers.
● Exceedingly positive in his/her work attitude.
