Job Title : OKTA Migration Engineer (OneLogin to OKTA Migration)
Location : Walnut Creek, CA (Hybrid - 1 or 2 Days onsite)

Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced OKTA Migration Engineer to lead the migration from OneLogin to OKTA. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in identity and access management (IAM), authentication protocols, and hands-on experience with OneLogin and OKTA. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, strategic planning abilities, and the capability to work collaboratively with IT teams to ensure a smooth and secure transition.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, design, and execute the migration from OneLogin to OKTA, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Analyze and document existing OneLogin configurations, user groups, roles, and policies.
Develop and implement a migration roadmap, including user provisioning, authentication mechanisms, and application integrations.
Configure and optimize OKTA tenant, including SSO, MFA, policies, and security best practices.
Ensure seamless integration of applications, APIs, and third-party services with OKTA.
Required Skills & Experience :
5 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
Hands-on experience with OneLogin and OKTA, including user authentication, SSO, and security policies.
Expertise in SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, and related authentication protocols.
Strong understanding of user lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and security best practices.
Experience with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD) and integrating with cloud and SaaS applications.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or APIs.
Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience with enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards is a plus (e.g., SOC2, NIST, ISO27001).
