Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced OKTA Migration Engineer to lead the migration from OneLogin to OKTA. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in identity and access management (IAM) authentication protocols and handson experience with OneLogin and OKTA. This role requires strong problemsolving skills strategic planning abilities and the capability to work collaboratively with IT teams to ensure a smooth and secure transition.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan design and execute the migration from OneLogin to OKTA ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Analyze and document existing OneLogin configurations user groups roles and policies.
Develop and implement a migration roadmap including user provisioning authentication mechanisms and application integrations.
Configure and optimize OKTA tenant including SSO MFA policies and security best practices.
Ensure seamless integration of applications APIs and thirdparty services with OKTA.
Required Skills & Experience :
5 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
Handson experience with OneLogin and OKTA including user authentication SSO and security policies.
Expertise in SAML OAuth OpenID Connect (OIDC) SCIM and related authentication protocols.
Strong understanding of user lifecycle management rolebased access control (RBAC) and security best practices.
Experience with directory services (Active Directory LDAP Azure AD) and integrating with cloud and SaaS applications.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python PowerShell or APIs.
Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues.
Excellent problemsolving communication and documentation skills.
Experience with enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards is a plus (e.g. SOC2 NIST ISO27001).
