Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven B2B business development manager to identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within industries such as retail, manufacturing, hospitality, property management, and logistics. In this role, you will build and nurture relationships with decision-makers, helping them understand the value of our waste-compacting solutions. Our current successful sales team spends 25 hours IN the field/territory, and the rest is follow-up, computer time, etc. With over 200 square miles of protected sales territory, your earning potential is uncapped. Windshield time is VITAL for this position, but we make sure you don’t worry about the cost to fill up your tank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify potential customers within targeted industries through research, cold outreach, and networking.
- Manage and expand a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Utilizing marketing material to help create leads for our routed business.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date sales pipeline utilizing our CRM software and other provided tools.
- Work with GM to identify new potential within our 200 square miles of territory to then sell into.
- Sales Presentations & Consultations:
- Deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations showcasing our service benefits.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Conduct a live demo along with our professional truck operator, then, if appropriate, start a risk-free trial period with the client and then once we’ve proven it at no risk to the prospect, complete the sale.
- Act as a brand ambassador at local trade associations, shows and events.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including facility managers, property managers, and procurement teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

- Interest in growing your career with additional responsibilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Sales meetings will take place on the customer's premises. Local travel is expected; reliable transportation required
- Bi-lingual – English is required, Spanish is helpful but not required
We are new to the industry, so it has to be shown. Making a brief introduction of our innovation is very different from a commodity cold call - trust us. From phone, to email, to LinkedIn, to physical drop in, we have multiple approaches that work. They are all, ultimately, a form of cold calling. Physically dropping in with the ability to demo the truck (with the professional operator doing the smashing) breaks the ice almost every time and is a preferred approach once you have identified the prospects within a route. As they say, seeing is believing!
Our culture is focused on teamwork. All team members contribute where needed, regardless of title. Willingness to chip in and help contribute to the team as needed are all fundamental requirements of all employees.
