Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, stick, post and construction management. This role involves working on various construction sites, where you will be responsible for building frameworks for structures, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work. The Framer will collaborate with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Duties
- Construct and assemble frameworks for buildings using wood or metal materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Execute masonry work as needed, including stucco application.
- Collaborate with construction management to ensure project timelines are met.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials on-site as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Framer or Carpenter in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques, including stucco application.
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily tasks.
- Experience with trim carpentry is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working on various construction sites in different environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
