Skilled Construction General Laborer
SMC Concrete and Construction is seeking Skilled Construction General Laborers to join our team! If you have experience in construction, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality, we want you to be part of our growing, family-owned business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, metal building erection and assisting with concrete work.
- Safely operate hand tools and power equipment to support skilled tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with the setup, teardown, and maintenance of construction equipment and materials.
- Follow blueprints and work instructions to ensure quality and efficiency on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and goals.
Requirements:
- Previous construction or general labor experience required.
- Proficient with basic hand tools and construction equipment.
- Strong physical stamina, able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Understanding of construction site safety protocols.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
