Job Summary:  Hybrid position supporting various human resources related functions for the Somerset WI location with strong focus leading and driving the full life-cycle talent acquisition activities for all WI locations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources

  • Provide day to day support on a variety of employee needs to include leave management, benefit administration, compensation, and employee relations and general which may include appropriate counseling, guidance and partnership with employees and leaders to resolve workforce issues, complaints, or grievances in a fair and unbiased manner.
  • Provide sound advice and counsel to management on employee relations matters.
  • Investigate, recommend solutions, and coach leaders on performance management, labor relations and other human resources matters. 
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, past practice, organizational policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.
  • Prepare onboarding materials for new hires, coordinates pre-employment screenings, and assists with orientation activities.
  • Work closely with HR Manager to provide clear and concise communication of policies and procedures to ensure a customer driven environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local Laws, EEOC, AA, HIPAA, ERISA; and company policies.  

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop, implement, and administer a proactive and strategic recruitment and talent acquisition process focused on sourcing and building talent pipelines using a diverse sourcing strategy, as well as coordinating various programs for leadership development.  Establish strong working relationships with hiring managers to gain in depth understanding of their requirements.  
  • Forecast workforce needs, analyze market trends, review target area conditions, and assess available supply of candidates; balancing all to ensure business needs are met while avoiding employee shortages or surpluses.   
  • Implement and manage candidate experience and expectations through processes that promote a positive and professional experience for all candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.  
  • Build and maintain long term partnerships with high schools, colleges, universities, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract talent.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, assist with college internship programs to include campus recruiting, onboarding, coordination of events, provide sound advice and counsel to management regarding employee relations matters, ensure employees/managers receive appropriate counseling, guidance, and support on employee relations issues.  
  • Present organization information in public forums including schools, universities, organizations, and career fairs and/or other appropriate community events. 
  • Creatively source candidates through different venues such as hiring events, career fairs, digital marketing, social media, and community outreach to form a strong talent pipeline.
  • Proactively develop candidate pool through strategic networking, referrals, events/conferences, and knowledge about internal talent.
  • Responsible for vendor management to include identifying, partnering and contract negotiation with external providers; ensuring hiring needs are met.
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders to develop job profiles and identify needs to attract high-quality applicants. Advise management on interviewing, hiring and candidate evaluation.
  • Develop metrics and data analytics to drive positive experiences for talent acquisition and key stakeholders.
  • Define and lead recruitment projects focused on continuous improvement.

                           

General Support

  • Partner with other HR team members.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of relevant OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and a minimum of six years relevant experience.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Expert ability to navigate social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills including listening, written and public presentation skills.
  • Collaborative approach to building relationships
  • Applicable knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Ability to flex hours to cover all shifts as needed. 
  • Previous HRIS experience

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADP recruiting platform
  • Medical Device Manufacturing recruiting experience
  • Influencing skills
  • Coaching skills

 

ADA Requirements:

  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for operation of a computer.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally.
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing physical hazards.
  • Travel by air or car occasionally
