Job Summary
SMCJUHSD Adult School is seeking an enthusiastic ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor to lead our Pre-CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Preparation Program. This role focuses on preparing bilingual adult learners to build their English language proficiency while learning essential healthcare-related vocabulary and concepts. The goal is to ensure students are prepared to succeed in a CNA program and eventually become bilingual CNAs who can serve diverse patient populations.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS : - Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential that authorizes English as a Second Language OR - Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist Instruction Credential with full CLAD authorization (e.g. ELA1) or Bilingual authorization
