Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple high-value structural steel projects. In this role, you will manage client relationships, subcontractors, and internal teams while ensuring strict compliance with PMI best practices, PMP guidelines, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of structural steel projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Development and execution of project plans following PMI best practices.
• Leadership of project kickoff meetings, setting clear expectations with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Closely coordination with engineering, detailing, fabrication, and erection teams.
• Proactive identification and resolution of potential issues before they impact project delivery.

Requirements

• 5 years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication and erection.
• Proven track record of managing projects ranging from $5M to $150M.
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Experience leading teams of project managers, engineers, and field staff.
• Expert in reading and interpreting structural drawings and erection plans.
• Proficient in project management software (Procore, Tekla PowerFab, Trimble Vista, or similar).
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
