Area Representative Sought:
ISE International Exchange Student Programs (ISE) is on the search for a community spirited individual isn’t hesitant to get out in their community and spread the word about the benefits of hosting a well-screened high school exchange teen. Your role will include recruiting and screening potential host families for our August arriving exchange students, and providing ongoing support throughout their year-long homestay. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and the lives of young students.
Students from 60 different countries!
ISE international students. 14-18, come prepared with personal spending money and medical insurance. They integrate into their volunteer host families by contributing to household duties and even engaging in family discussions. A strict code of program conduct governs their behavior throughout the program.
Your duties:
- Engaging with Schools and Communities: Collaborate with local high schools in Muskegon to integrate exchange students, emphasizing the enriching benefits of cultural diversity in education.
- Recruiting Host Families: Identify and support families eager to welcome international students. With comprehensive training and 24/7 support, you'll ensure a smooth placement process.
- Providing Ongoing Support: Maintain regular monthly contact with students and host families to ensure a positive and enriching exchange experience.
