Position Overview:
Dental Office Manager Experience is REQUIRED.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental office. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth administrative workflows, support staff efficiency, and provide exceptional service to patients. This role requires excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of dental office operations.
Responsibilities:
Office Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of the dental office.
- Maintain and update office policies and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and supply management.
Staff Supervision and Support:
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage administrative staff, including receptionists and billing personnel.
- Schedule and oversee staff workflows to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Facilitate staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Patient Relations:
- Ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients.
- Address patient concerns and complaints, providing resolutions in a timely manner.
- Manage patient scheduling, ensuring efficient use of provider time and resources.
- Oversee the patient check-in/check-out process and maintain high standards of service.
Financial and Administrative Oversight:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including insurance claims and billing processes.
- Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking.
- Monitor and optimize practice revenue by identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Technology and Systems:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of dental office management software.
- Troubleshoot minor IT issues and coordinate with external technical support as needed.
- Train staff on software and new technologies.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to all clinical and administrative standards.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
