Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator to join our family owned private practice . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans and ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through treatment completion. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of orthodontic terminology and administrative processes within an office setting.

Compensation:
-Competitive performance-based bonus payments after 3 months of full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and manage the patient calendar efficiently to optimize workflow.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, insurance benefits, and financial responsibilities.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment presentations for patients, highlighting the benefits and addressing any concerns.
- Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
- Provide administrative support in the office, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling inquiries.
- Stay updated on industry trends, medical and dental terminology, and office procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Send Pre-Authorizations.
- Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment. planned and updates on patient treatment.
- Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit.
- Ability to audit chart notes and create claims.
- Ability to run end of day reports.
- Assist with open and close of the office.
Requirements
- MUST have a good attitude.
- 1-3 years of previous orthodontic treatment coordinator experience is required.
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish).
- Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment.
- Must have knowledge of all dental insurances such as PPOs.
- Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider).
- Practice management software experience is helpful.
- Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain, present, and educate orthodontic treatment plans to patients plainly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
