Title: Aerospace & Defense MD Investment Banking
Salary: $275,000 – $300,000 Bonus
Location: New York, NY (REMOTE)
Responsibilities:
- Work along side the Investment Banking and Advisory teams
- Originate deals and client engagements
- Focus on Business Development, originate Aerospace and Defense M&A deals
- Generate and qualify new prospecting leads to bring on deals
- Conduct research, stay up to date on the Industrials market trends and M&A activity
- Create and maintain a book of business in the middle market ($100mn-$500mn)
- Supervise Financial Models and Transaction material
- Industry focus – Aerospace & Defense Investment Banking
Requirements:
- BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
- Anywhere between 7- 15 yrs of combined work experience in Investment Banking, M&A Advisory and or Corporate Development (preferred sector expertise in Government Services and A&D), ideally over 10 years of mid markets exp and at least 8 years of overall Industrials Investment Banking exp
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal, communications, listening skills and business acumen
- Able to work on multiple projects at once,
- Be a leader in the Industrials group
- Book of business, generating north of ~$5mn or so per year
- Strong drive and worth ethic to get things done
- Experience in building and leading teams
- Relevant Investment Banking licenses – Series 79, Series 63, Series 7
Salary : $275,000 - $300,000
