Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage project scheduling and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910.
- Performs monthly safety meetings with subcontractors on site.
- Collaborate with project managers and estimators to develop accurate construction estimates and budgets.
- Maintain daily progress reports in written form
- Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth and safe operations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process, utilizing equipment such as an Ohmmeter when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Must be willing to travel within a 2 hour range from home office.
Experience
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction estimating and budgeting processes.
- Expert knowledge of assigned construction plans and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools.
- Manage projects 5-10 million in value.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
