POSITION: Parts Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a dedicated Parts Specialist to join our team and provide outstanding customer service. This full-time, in-office role involves managing a high volume of calls and performing a combination of desk-based tasks in an office and manufacturing setting. The position also requires close coordination with the shipping and receiving department to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
As a Parts Specialist, you will play a vital role in our operations by processing parts and broom orders with professionalism and efficiency. You will ensure every customer is treated with care, addressing their needs or concerns promptly and effectively to deliver a smooth and positive experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them as necessary
- Take customer parts and brooms orders via phone, email, and in person
- Enter customer orders into ERP
- Verify lead time and availability for customer requests
- Set shipment schedule for parts orders daily
- Check status of existing orders for customers
- Monitor back orders for completion
- Schedule LTL pick-ups
- Ensure customer receipt of goods
- Handle any customer order discrepancies
- Work with managers to verify accuracy of customer pricing
- Work with purchasing manager to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Process credit card transactions as needed
- Ensure freight bills are matched to quotes
- Other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Efficient in MS Office
- Efficient in NetSuite or other ERP
- Ability to work independently and with others
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Starting Pay - $20.00/hour
