JOB TITLE : Senior Registrar
STATUS : Full Time
TYPE : On-Campus
REPORTS TO : Campus Director / Regional Registrar Manager
PURPOSE :
The Registrar is responsible for the maintenance and integrity of each individual student record that includes the admissions information, scheduling, attendance, grading, tuition payments, and counseling(s). The individual in this role must create and maintain collaborative working relationships with campus leadership, faculty, and staff. The Registrar supports Smith Chason College programs and policies as established by federal, state, administrative, and academic entities. The Registrar also acts as a central communication resource for academic and policy information related to student records and management.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES :
- 3-5 years experience as a higher education Registrar
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven leader with business administration experience required
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; capable of reading, writing, and speaking the English language clearly and understandably
- Demonstrated understanding of the application of technology to deliver Records and Registration services
- A positive attitude and ability to plan and adapt to change, results-oriented
- Strong technical skills including computer applications / programs, internet research, database management, and analytical skills; the ability to quickly learn new software programs as needed
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, and meet deadlines
