Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and payment histories.
- Reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Utilize QuickBooks for tracking and managing accounts receivable functions.
Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or accounts receivable roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including technical accounting skills.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential.
- Excellent math skills with the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding billing inquiries.
- Familiarity with debits and credits is crucial for this role.
