Purpose: The Roll-Off Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal
services to customers.
Must complete all required safety-related training including, but not limited to TWIC, 10 Hour OSHA, Hazardous Materials
Emergency Response, Lock Out Tag Out, Heat Stress, MSHA, Defensive Driving, Hazard Communications, and H2S.

Specific Licenses: Valid State issued Commercial Driver’s License required.
Work conditions: Industrial setting, outside environment, exposure to extreme temperatures and elements possible;
exposure to hazardous chemicals possible; extended periods of sitting; climbing; ability to use handheld radio/phone

Essential Functions:
- Assumes total responsibility for the safe operation of all required equipment.
- Drives a roll-off truck along designated routes to mechanically collect, exchange, or deliver containers and take to
- Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections; completes and submits the vehicle condition report at the end of the
- Courteously interacts with customers and/or the general public along the route to answer questions or respond to
- Cleans loose trash off of truck and/or ground around truck and container that spills during the loading and unloading
- Secure containers by attaching hook to container; uses control levers to pull container up on the bed of the truck,
- Operates compaction and lift equipment on vehicle.
- Responsible for pre-post trip inspections.
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Adherence to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations and standards
- Performs general maintenance tasks necessary to keep machinery, equipment, and tools in operable condition.
- Clean vehicles, trucks, and equipment.
- Reports potential issues or concerns to Manager/Branch Manager.
- Works when scheduled and complies with the company attendance policy.
- Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies to
