Job Summary
The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center. This position involves the handling, moving, and storage of materials and products within the facility. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and clamp trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Build and maintain pallets of products for storage or shipment.
- Perform regular inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials.
Skills
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and clamp trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
