- Requirements:
- 2 years of related experience in performing and leading most aspects of pesticide application services
- High School diploma/equivalency.
- Driver's License and clean driving record
- Valid MDARD Pesticide Applicators License Core, 3A & 3B
- Must pass review by management and a 30-day probationary period.
· Job Duties:
o Assist with the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM including all daily labor, equipment, and materials required to complete daily objectives
o Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and perform other lawn care duties
o Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, ride-on lawn applicators, skid steers, and blowers
o Ensure proper safety, quality, and productivity
o Conduct inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment
o Assist in other job-related duties including construction projects, shop, and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance
o Comply with all company policies and regulations
o Communicate with customers and coworkers in a polite and courteous manner
· Pay and Benefits:
o $15 - $20 an hour depending on experience
o Simple IRA with 3% company match
o Vacation pay after 90 days
o Holiday pay
