General Description

The Inside Sales Coordinator delivers excellent service and deliverables to all Smith System customers, both external and internal, using multiple communication platforms and systems.
Responsabilities
- Providing excellent service and support to our Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), dealer partners, designers/architects, and end users via phone, email, chat, and video conferencing.
- Field travel to assist in events such as trade shows, dealer events and temporary territory coverage for vacant sales territories.
- Web engagement process managing leads – qualifying and opportunity creation. Partnering with RSMSs communicating and linking different levels of opportunities for immediate action.
- Hunting mentality/exploratory approach to find right solutions for end-users/consultative selling methodology.
- Daily High level of Salesforce know-how and usage - Smith System’s main CRM for managing opportunities.
- Coordinating layout and design requests, budgetary estimates, reviewing specifications for accuracy and compatibility, lead-time and availability, technical guidance, and product compatibility.
- Attending live CHAT feature on Smith System’s website from 8 AM – 5 PM (Monday to Friday) – long sitting periods.
- Performing virtual/physical showroom tours to dealers, RSMs, and designers/architects and end-users.
- Detailed showroom factory visit(s) presentations to different audiences – control and guide the conversation on solution needs.
- Delivering product and application training for dealers and other partners.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Work experience / education requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college preferred.
- At least 3 years of inside sales or sales experience required.
- Experience with furniture is preferred, but not required.
- Multilingual is preferred – Spanish a plus.
Abilities Required
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure functions are completed timely.
- Ability to multitask and move quickly from one task to another, often with interruptions.
- Must be an excellent time manager and able to prioritize and handle critical tasks seamlessly.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to draw connection between multiple sources or “connect the dots.”
- Ability to work in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable with engaging clients via video conferencing and aiding in providing virtual/physical tours of our showroom.
- Ability to learn product line and become an expert with recommending Smith System solutions.
