Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Participates in quality control programs/documentation, obtained results and records that are needed for the Quality/Business Management System.
Uphold and enforce the quality program; ISO 9001 requirements, including ISO/IEC 80079-34 ATEX Directive and ISO/TS22163 (IRIS).
Assist in writing procedures that will support the efforts to keep the SSI Quality registrations as required.
Learn the use and function of the test equipment (mechanical and electrical) and procedures used in support of SSI quality programs.
Must become proficient in the use of applicable programs in the computer system to support SSI quality programs.
Through on the job training, become knowledgeable about the preparation of SPAP and reporting of same.
Through on the job training, become proficient in procedures concerning calibration of all equipment and documented records.
Assist in the calibration of internal equipment and documents results as needed.
Provide hands on assistance in quality areas in an effort to maintain proper product and documentation flow.
Complete internal audit training to quality standards.
Properly identify products and processes, perform the required job duties as instructed, along with understand the impact on compliance of the Ex, IRIS, TS, and ISO Products/Processes (Knowledge/Competence/Awareness).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Requires working with inspection tooling such as calipers, micrometers, Hi-pot testers and oscilloscopes.
Requires use of simple hand tools.
Requires successful completion of internal solder training course.
Must be able to read electronic color codes.
Must be able to read technical specifications.
Education and Experience:
BS in Engineering or Quality, or equivalent
Experience with ISO 9001
Microsoft Office software
Experience with Q-Pulse
