About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic at Smithfield Foods, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment in a food processing environment. Your work will involve reading blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly.
You will also be required to observe equipment or machinery while in operation to detect malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure efficient production processes.
