Join our team at STS Aerospace as a Payroll Administrator where you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for handling various payroll tasks and supporting the finance department.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Process and issue manual checks as needed
- Stay updated on Kronos and ADP
- Ensure accuracy in all payroll and benefits records for each payroll cycle
- Prepare and process files for various systems
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality
- Address employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits and payroll
- Support HR department during special events
- Conduct audits of payroll and benefits systems
- Regularly and dependably at work on time
- Other tasks/projects as assigned
Qualifications
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations
- Bachelor's degree preferred, plus 2-4 years of HR and Payroll experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge/experience with ADP Workforce Now and UKG (Kronos) preferred
- Knowledge of HR concepts, practices, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Maintain high level of confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- High level of analytical skills and problem solving
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software and applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
- Strong attention to detail
