We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends. The Social Media Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create visually appealing content using graphic design skills, including images, videos, and infographics.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights using social listening tools to inform strategy adjustments.
- Manage the scheduling and posting of content using tools like Hootsuite to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Foster relationships with influencers and industry leaders to enhance brand visibility.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media, graphic design, video editing, and digital marketing.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Photoshop.
- Experience with video editing tools for creating engaging video content.
- Strong understanding of web analytics tools to track performance metrics.
- Excellent relationship management skills to build partnerships within the industry.
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite is preferred.
- Ability to stigmatise negative comments or feedback effectively while maintaining a positive brand image.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Contribute to marketing strategies and attend weekly marketing team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Educational Degree.
- Minimum 2 years experience.
- High level of professionalism.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills (people skills)
- Calm and collected when facing deadlines.
