Job Summary
The Assembly position at Golden Waffles plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling various parts to build high-quality waffle irons. The Assembly Worker is responsible for ensuring that each waffle iron meets the company's standards for quality and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble waffle iron components according to detailed specifications and blueprints, ensuring all parts fit correctly and securely.
- Inspect parts and assembled products to identify any defects or issues, ensuring that each waffle iron meets the company's quality standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble parts. Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
- Maintain accurate records of the assembly process, including quantities produced, any defects found, and actions taken to resolve issues.
- Identify and resolve assembly issues quickly and efficiently to minimize production downtime.
- Work closely with other assembly workers, supervisors, and quality control inspectors to ensure a smooth and efficient assembly process.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Keep the assembly area clean and organized, ensuring all materials and tools are stored properly.
