Assisting customers with selecting smoking accessories and tobacco products, providing detailed product knowledge, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring compliance with age verification laws, operating a point-of-sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment, while delivering excellent customer service; key responsibilities include greeting customers, upselling products, and staying updated on new items and promotions. Key responsibilities:
- Customer Service:Greet customers, answer questions about products, provide recommendations based on customer needs, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Product Knowledge:Possess in-depth knowledge of various smoking accessories like pipes, bongs, vapes, rolling papers, lighters, and tobacco products, including their features and benefits.
- Sales:Actively sell products, upsell and cross-sell items to maximize sales potential.
- Inventory Management:Stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, and report any stock discrepancies to management.
- Point-of-Sale Operations:Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and ensure compliance with age verification procedures.
- Store Maintenance:Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including product displays and fixtures.
- Compliance:Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding tobacco sales, including age verification checks.
Qualifications:
- Retail Experience: Prior experience in a retail setting, preferably in a customer service role.
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of smoking accessories and tobacco products is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Cash Handling Skills: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and operate a POS system.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
