Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue by promoting and selling our catering services to clients. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet their event requirements. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, with excellent communication skills and a passion for food and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Development:
- Actively seek out and engage with potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
- Identify new market opportunities and target customers for catering services.

Consultation & Event Planning:
- Consult with clients to understand their event needs, including menu preferences, budget, and special requirements.
- Provide clients with customized catering proposals, menus, and service options.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Account Management:
- Manage client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor client feedback and make recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and event details.

Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Track sales activities and provide regular reports on sales performance and client feedback.
- Analyze sales trends and client needs to inform future sales strategies.

Marketing & Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for catering services.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the business.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in catering, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of catering and event planning is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on client needs and event schedules.
- Some travel may be required to meet with clients and attend events.
