This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Co-Executive Director at the Sevierville, TN, campus. This role is crucial to the smooth and efficient operation of the agency. It requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
Calendar Management: Effectively manage schedules, appointments, travel arrangements, and correspondence for the Co-Executive Director.
Communication: Screen and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring timely and professional responses (within 24 hours or the next business day).
Meeting Support: Prepare meeting agendas, distribute materials, and take minutes.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth operations.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records, databases, and files.
Media Relations: Assist with press releases, media outreach, content creation, and media inquiries.
Event Planning: Coordinate events, including preparing agendas, managing logistics, and coordinating with vendors.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships (as a representative of the Co-Executive Director) with media contacts, stakeholders, work groups, volunteers, and other key individuals.
Special Projects: Assist with special projects (working alongside the Special Projects Assistant), lead tours, and perform additional tasks assigned by the Co-Executive Director.
Position Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for drafting emails, reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google Suite, with strong learning agility for other software essentials.
- Must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- Positive attitude and a warm disposition.
- Ability to co-labor in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work within the United States*.

Work schedule
