Smoky Mountain Children's Home , a faith-based non-profit organization, is seeking a part-time Foster Parent Trainer for the East Grand Region of Tennessee . In this role, you would be in a position to make a positive difference in the lives of at-risk youth. You will join a team of dedicated individuals who oversee the welfare of an assigned group of at-risk youth.

Summary
The Foster Parent Trainer position is part-time. The role assists with teaching TN-KEY classes and monitors continuing education courses for foster parents. The work schedule is dictated by the needs of the clients and staff, and although typical office hours are Monday through Friday, some weekend and evening hours will be required as necessary.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating and assisting with teaching TN-KEY classes to potential foster parents.
- Responsible for communicating with the Foster Home Compliance Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, and Foster Parents regarding upcoming TN-KEY classes and schedules.
- Responsible for coordinating childcare for continued education classes.
- Responsible for uploading foster parents on continued education hours.

Salary Information :
14.50 / hour - $19.50 / hour with a .50 / hour pay increase after a 90-day probationary period (with a favorable performance evaluation).
