Property Management Company in Mankato is seeking a full time Portfolio Manager to assume daily responsibility for all portfolio management operations of several multi-family properties. Central home is located in Mankato, MN.
Goal of the company: Our greatest responsibility is to maintain profitability through strong occupancy, controlled spending and meeting the needs of the tenants and owners.
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the direct management of the property manager and staff at each multi-family complex. Other responsibilities will include daily/weekly communication with your management teams, overseeing and maintain property budgets, overdue accounts, tenant relations, maintain files, hiring and training new staff, help market/advertise, capital improvements, and communicate with owner or boards. The Portfolio Manager is also responsible for the overall function of each apartment location. Must be a self-motivator and have the capability to motivate your management team to achieve success along with the creativity to make it happen. You must be able to handle a fast paced environment, problem solve with the ability to multitask under pressure.
The Portfolio Manager position is mainly 8-4:30pm, Monday through Friday with occasional emergency calls on nights and weekends. This position requires day travel but could also require some overnight travel.
Must be able to pass a credit/criminal history background check prior to employment and must possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license.
