Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Event Coordinator to join our SMS team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients & company culture. This role requires a high-level of communication skills and strong customer service abilities with both clients & vendors.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, communicate & execute events from 1-month out to completion, including weddings, corporate meetings, and social events.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on event logistics at Final Meetings & Rehearsals.
- Collect contracts from vendors such as venues, catering services, and entertainment providers to ensure all vendor information is verified.
- Oversee event logistics on event day, including venue set-up, catering arrangements, guest services, and on-site management during events.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each event to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and vendors.
- Experience in customer service with a focus on delivering high-quality guest experiences.
- Ability to collect contracts & information effectively while maintaining positive relationships with vendors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
