Contract position- Duluth, MN
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials. This role requires attention to detail, precision in fabrication, and the capability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques on various materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Fabricate components according to design specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robotic welding processes, including robot programming and operation of Fanuc systems.
- Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) during all fabrication processes.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and quality control measures.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design modifications and project planning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder with expertise in various welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and robotics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in MotoSim /Yaskawa Controller ( YRC1000)-Robot Master ( Offline Programming Software)
- Ability to pass an internal Robot-MIG weld test ( Final welds must pass visual inspection)
- Experience with robotic fixture setup, programing, and troubleshooting
- Experience with CGMP standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Certification in welding or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
