What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Media Coordinator position at Smugglers' Notch Resort?
The Content Media Specialist will drive content creation, Resort storytelling, high quality press releases, blog posts, video scripts, and other promotional content. Reaches targeted media through content marketing specifically aligned in part with digital and print advertising placement. The role will support or initiate marketing campaigns that build on Resort brand awareness, identity, create new networks/advertising channels, and works in sync with overall marketing strategies. Develops, coordinates, and directs initiatives to create and maintain a favorable public image for the Resort to position Smugglers' Notch as the best family vacation destination Resort anywhere by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging content, including press releases, blog posts, video scripts, and social media.
- Manage and grow the Resort’s online presence through storytelling and digital campaigns.
- Assist in photoshoots, leverage guest-generated content, and oversee email marketing.
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align messaging with brand strategy.
- Facilitate media visits, update press materials, and serve as a spokesperson when needed.
- Track performance metrics and optimize content for maximum impact.
