Scheduler-Production

The Scheduler works in the plant or with employees to make sure operations run on time. In the plant, schedulers prioritize inbound and outbound shipments to make sure that it gets to the end user in a timely matter.

Primary Duties

• Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.
• Schedule production machines in most cost effective and efficient way possible
• Coordinate all production activity with Sales and Sales Service to insure customers' orders are being handled properly
• Conduct twice-daily scheduling meetings with various personnel to explain shipping deadlines, existing and / or new orders, problems to look out for, etc.
• Supervise staff in the daily routine of scheduling corrugator and preparing production reports
• Support and enforce all management directives as they apply to human resources : i.e., rules, policies, etc.
• Oversee roll stock ordering and inventory requirements
• All other duties as assigned
