What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Process Technician position at SMV Recruiting?
SMV Recruiting has an immediate opening for an experienced 2nd Shift Process Technician in Concord, NC. We are looking for someone for injection molding team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working as a process technician on a manufacturing plant floor with automation. Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot automated plastic injection molding equipment, robots and EOAT problems
- Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimal output and quality
- Perform mold changes, start ups and quality control checks
- Write recipe / formula for plastic end products (hold times, plasticizers, parts, etc.)
- Balance and drill out hot runner systems as needed
- Repair equipment
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and engineers to address machine malfunctions
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines
