At SMX, we are seeking a visionary Technical System Lead to drive innovation and lead our technical projects in the field of system architecture.
About the Role
- We require a seasoned professional with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining system architectures that support customer-assigned systems.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring successful operations and maintenance of all IT systems, including database administration, system administration, system security support, and system configuration.
In this role, you will evaluate analytical and systematic problems with workflow, system configuration, and planning.
Requirements
- A valid Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI if required.
- A degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline is required.
- No less than 8 years of specialized experience supporting or leading IT network systems O&M with system architecture and engineering experience for on-premises and/or cloud environments.
- Detailed knowledge of system and database administration, including backups, databasing tasks, file recovery, user access support, and independently resolving complex system or user problems under tight deadlines.
- Possession of relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, CompTIA Server , CompTIA Security , ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) would be an advantage.
