This is your opportunity to make a difference in a small, progressive, rural church community. Smyrna UCC (midway between Canby and Molalla) is creating a new, part-time position of Office Admin and is seeking someone who can collaborate as well as innovate in a relaxed, LGBTQ affirming environment. Previous experience in bookkeeping, administrative support or facilities management preferred. Knowledge of Quicken or Quickbooks required.
This position is about administrative support to the pastor, congregation, and
the public. Duties would at various times include:
- Assist the pastor as requested.
- Manage and update the church calendar and bookings.
- Process correspondence in all forms.
- Maintain office and church supplies
- Help maintain membership records.
- Communicate and collaborate with and between pastor, church members and
the public.
- Assist with transacting and recording financial matter
- Respect at all times the confidentiality of the information you work with
10-15 hours/week
Flexible scheduling
On-site (not remote)
$20/hour
