What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at SnackCrate?
Since 2015, SnackCrate has been delivering the world’s best snacks straight to doorsteps, turning every unboxing into a global flavor adventure. Does that mean free snacks? You bet it does! Based in Denver, we’re on the hunt for a creative, organized, and highly motivated Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. At SnackCrate, we believe in big ideas, bold creativity, and a work-hard, play-hard mentality. Our laid-back, collaborative environment comes with weekly happy hours, a winter hours program (Fridays off!), and, of course, an endless supply of snacks.
What You’ll Do
As part of our Creative Team, you’ll have a hand in shaping the visual identity of every touchpoint of SnackCrate. No two days are the same—you’ll be designing everything from social media content and paid ads to email campaigns,
packaging, and website assets.
- Bring fresh, eye-catching designs to life across social, digital, email campaigns and print materials.
- Work closely with the Design Lead and Creative Team to develop new concepts and creative strategies.
- A strong grasp of typography, composition, and brand consistency.
- Retouch, manipulate, and enhance photo and video assets.
- Create fun, engaging graphics and videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
- Keep a pulse on design trends and incorporate them into our brand identity.
What You Bring / Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a design or production environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience2-4 years of experience in graphic design
- Expert-level proficiency in ALL Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects (or other video editing software like CapCut), Figma, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong background in color theory and typography
- A creative mind for short-form copywriting, and understanding of best practices for social media and promotional copywriting.
- A knack for balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented (both visually and grammatically)
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and a collaborative mindset
